What is Google Classroom?

The purpose of Google Classroom is to simplify and improve the process of creating, distributing, and grading classroom assignments in a paperless format. Google classroom is very easy to use, saves teachers time, saves paper, improves organization, enhances communication (parent & student), and FREE. Google classroom allows teachers to easily create and manage different classes, assignments, and grades all in one place while also providing real-time feedback.

How does Google Classroom work?

Google classroom works with Google Docs, Google Drive, and Gmail. Teachers have the ability to attach different materials to assignments from their Google drive such as documents, links, or images. Once an assignment is created the teacher can set a due date and monitor who has and has not turned in the assignment. Teachers can digitally view and grade all assignments turned into the Google Classroom. For more information about how materials are shared in Google Classroom CLICK HERE.
