1st 6 Weeks Formative Assessments - COMING SOON!

It's almost that time! Your 1st 6 Weeks Formative Assessment is due in Eduphoria Aware on September 8th. Remember that we're using the 6 Weeks YAG (Year at a Glance) this year, so your test will be built accordingly.

We're adding adding MAP as one of our assessment instruments this year. We don't to overtest our students with this in mind, our aim is to make sure that our FAs focus on checking for understanding of the most important readiness standards in the material you will have covered in the first 6 weeks.

Creating a Test in Eduphoria Aware

If your test cannot be built according to the guidelines below, speak with your campus principal, making sure there's adequate coverage of readiness standards questions combined with processing standards questions.

BR Formative Assessments Guidelines

The TEKS Resource System creates test questions BY the UNIT that are pulled into Eduphoria. - basically "ready made" unit tests. If you would like to pull these unit questions into an Eduphoria test, see the instructions below. I'm available to help, if needed.

Weekly Communication from Central Office - 8/25

What a great first week!
It was great to see all of our students on the first day with smiles, ready to meet a new year! Our BR staff always does a great job in welcoming everyone, making the first day back a terrific one! This year was no different. Thank you, staff, for all you do.

I'll be making a post from Central Office EACH FRIDAY. Hopefully by communicating needed information in one place, it won't get lost through email. Please take time each weekend to read over this communication.

Wink’s Weekly Words

This week has been such a great start to the year.  I was very impressed with the way every campus and employee rolled out the “Green Carpet” for our kids.  You did such a great job building strong relationships and establishing student-led routines and procedures.  As we begin Week 1.2, please remember that the most critical skill is “what to do when you don’t know what to do”.  C4B4Me is a critical skill needed not only for the classroom, but for life.  I challenge you to do your best in motivating kids to Learn, Grow and Excel with C4B4Me.
